Fundraising in the Post-Covid-19 Era

#NonProfitGrants

Today, more than never before, many organizations find themselves in a tight financial spot, without no multiyear funded project(s) or reliable donor to count on.

Organizations are nowadays operating from short-term, #projects, whose completion, for the most time, means the end of major organizational financial source(s) and operations. Undeniably, as the crisis continue to expand in our world, with disposable income, dwindling by the day, few organizations will sustain year-round operations.

If you add to the #coronaviruspandemic and its impact on the global economy and the space for donor funding is substantially diminished.

However, amidst all these challenges, organizations with strategic fundraising strategy can still manage to pull through successfully with minimum resource inhibition.

Running an organization is both a science and an art. It requires both methodical and tested nuances as well as beautifully crafted grant sustaining portfolio. Raising funds requires more than scientific analysis and artistic planning. Organizations will have to find a way of putting sustainable strategies in place to make their fundraising strategies both sustainable and reliable.

In fact, #grants management schemes involve more than just hard cash wired into an organization’s bank account. It involves intentional approach by an organization to make practical social change with whatever is available. Money should be the last thing in the mind of anyone who wants to change a community. It is such a mindset that will eventually trigger financial flow; because many donors now know how to differentiate between persons genuinely interested in changing their communities and those interested in raising funds at all cost.
